There is no message more urgent, more life-changing, and more eternally significant than this: Accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour today. Many scoff at this call. Some postpone it, thinking tomorrow is guaranteed.
Others think they are good enough without Him. But the Bible, our final authority, declares with absolute clarity that now is the accepted time — today is the day of salvation.
(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) — 2 Corinthians 6:2 KJV
The gospel message is simple yet profound: All men are sinners, lost and condemned without hope apart from Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ came into this world to save sinners. He shed His precious blood at Calvary to pay for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day. He offers forgiveness, cleansing, and eternal life to all who repent and believe on Him.
Hell is Real — And Many Are Going There
Modern religion and worldly philosophy have tried to erase hell from their doctrines and from people’s minds. But the truth remains — Jesus Christ Himself preached more about hell than He did about heaven. Hell is not a myth, nor a mere state of mind. It is a literal place of eternal torment prepared for the devil and his angels — yet multitudes choose it by rejecting Christ.
“And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.” — Matthew 25:46 KJV
“And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” — Revelation 20:15 KJV
This should break our hearts and shake our souls! The Bible says, broad is the way that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat (Matthew 7:13 KJV). Every heartbeat brings us closer to eternity — heaven or hell. Once the door of death closes, there is no second chance. Your eternal destiny is sealed.
Christ Will Soon Return — To Judge and To Reign
One reason men delay repentance is they think they have time. But the Bible warns that Jesus Christ will come again. He came first as the humble Lamb of God. But He is coming again as the King of kings and Lord of lords. He will judge the living and the dead.
“And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.” — 2 Thessalonians 1:7-8 KJV
He will reign for a thousand years — the promised Millennial Kingdom. The devil will be bound, and righteousness will fill the earth. But before that kingdom reign comes, Christ will judge the nations, separating the sheep from the goats (Matthew 25). Those who have rejected Him will face the wrath of the Lamb.
Repent Now — Tomorrow Might Be Too Late
Many people plan to get right with God someday. They say, I will repent later. I will accept Jesus when I’m old. I will change my ways when I’ve had my fun. But the devil loves that lie. Tomorrow is not yours. One heartbeat, one accident, one sickness, one tragic event — and you could be in eternity. The rich man in Luke 16 probably planned to repent — but he died and opened his eyes in hell.
“Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.” — Proverbs 27:1 KJV
God commands men everywhere to repent. Not tomorrow, not next year — now. Genuine repentance is more than feeling sorry. It is a change of mind and heart that turns you from sin to God, from self to the Saviour.
“And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent.” — Acts 17:30 KJV
How to Accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour
Some make salvation complicated. But the Bible makes it clear. Salvation is not earned — it is received by faith. You must:

Recognize you are a sinner.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” — Romans 3:23 KJV
- Realize the penalty for sin is death and hell.
“For the wages of sin is death…” — Romans 6:23 KJV
- Believe that Jesus Christ died for you, was buried, and rose again.
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8 KJV
- Repent of your sin and trust Him alone to save you.
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” — Romans 10:9 KJV
This is not about joining a religion, doing good works, or turning over a new leaf. It is trusting fully in the finished work of Jesus Christ. He alone can save. He alone can cleanse your sin. He alone can give you new life.
A Personal Invitation
Friend, as you read this, the Holy Spirit is calling you. Will you turn away again, or will you respond in humble faith? Eternity is too long to be wrong. If you die without Christ, you will wish for just one more chance — but there will be none. Now is the accepted time. Now is the day of salvation.
Pray from your heart:
“Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I repent and trust You alone as my Lord and Saviour. Save me and help me to live for You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
If you have done that sincerely, stand on the promises of God. Tell someone. Get into a Bible-believing church that preaches the old Book — the King James Bible. Be baptized as a public testimony. Grow in His Word. Tell others about Him.
Final Plea: Don’t Delay
Jesus is coming soon. The signs of the times are all around us — wars, famines, pestilences, spiritual deception, moral decay. Soon He will break through the clouds, and the door of grace will close for many. Will you be ready?
Dear reader, you have read the truth. What will you do with it? Hell is real. Heaven is real. The cross is real. Christ is real. Repent now — accept Him as your personal Lord and Saviour while you still can.
Tomorrow might be too late.
