Edward K. Lee on COL Financial Outlook for 2019

The economic managers are confident that the  Philippine economy will be better and stronger for the year 2019. With the passage of numerous laws gearing towards business development and improvement in the economy, the country's economic experts are seeing new businesses and sparked  growth of economic activities resulting from better environment and ease of doing business. Huge investments in infrastructure and human capital development were the president's main economic agenda with the "Build, build, build" Project and the comprehensive tax reform program being set to help fund the infrastructure program.

In a seminar with the stock market investors, Edward K. Lee shared his insights of the Philippine market condition for the year 2019. Mr. Lee is the founder and chairman of the country's largest online stock brokerage firm, COL Financial, which accounts for over 75% of online value turnover, according to PSE records.

The Philippine Stock Market (PSEi) increased 346 points or 4.62% since the beginning of 2019, according to trading on a contract for difference (CFD) that tracks this benchmark index from Philippines. Historically, the Philippines Stock Market (PSEi) reached an all time high of 9,058.62 in January of 2018 and a record low of 129.52 in February of 1986.
